A travel site where teenagers write recommendations for other teenagers.
Wandora connects teenagers through real recommendations from people their own age. No influencers. No sponsored posts.
A gemstone is one place and one reason to go. Short enough to read in ten seconds, specific enough to act on.
Wandora is founded on three rules:
Every gemstone comes from someone who has been to the place. Nobody pays to be listed.
We want the places missing from the guidebooks, ones that locals know.
Teenagers write for other teenagers. That is the whole idea.
I am Randev Schonfeld. I was born in Los Angeles, I live in London, and I spent a year playing tennis in Barcelona. My family comes from Puerto Rico, Sri Lanka, and the Midwest, so home has always meant more than one place, and I have spent a lot of time on the road with my parents and siblings.
On those trips I kept noticing the same gap. Plenty of sites tell adults where to eat and what to see. Nothing tells a teenager which places a teenager would love. So I built Wandora, a place where we can share those spots with each other.
